- Born in Kozan (Hiroshima Prefecture).
- 1957
- Entered in the workshop of Katsuzo Entsuba.
- 1962
- Selected for the first time at the Nitten (and for 8 consecutive years).
- 1969
- Entered the department of sculpture at the National Academy of Rome.
- Studied with Prof. Fazzini.
- 1971
- Graduated from the National Academy with the first prize Minerva.
- 1974
- Participated in the execution of the "Resurrection of Jesus Christ" in the Papal audience chamber, Vatican City, as an assistant of Prof. Fazzini.
- 1990
- Received in audience by Pope John Paul II in the Vatican and conferred commemorative medal.
- 1993
- Awarded the Prize of Culture from the Hiroshima Home TV
- 2000
- Partial opening of the "Hill of Hope" at the Gigi-en of the Kosanji Temple
- 2004
- Had an audience with President Ciampi at Carrara
- 2005
- Marble Architectural Awards, Carrara (First Prize)
- 2006
- Awarded the Prize of Hiroshima Culture
Received in audience by Pope John Paul II in the Vatican and conferred commemorative medal on June 20th, 1990.
